Role Overview: The Nursing Assistant (NA) provides resident-centered nursing care and assistance with daily living activities under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN).

- Assist residents with bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, and vital sign recording.
- Support psychosocial needs and personal care, including transfers, repositioning, and range of motion exercises.
- Help with meals, snacks, and hydration, ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Follow infection prevention, control policies, and proper PPE use.
- Document resident interactions, health status, and care outcomes.
- Collect non-invasive specimens, communicate changes in condition to staff, and assist with housekeeping and laundry.
- Encourage participation in wellness and recreational activities.
- Assist with procedures as needed and support staff in various tasks.
- High school diploma or GED preferred; minimum age 18.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required or in process within four months.
- Prior clinical or long-term care experience preferred.
- Maintain required certifications, complete annual competency testing, and accrue ongoing education credits.
- Possibly qualified as a Driver and medically fit for driving duties, depending on role requirements.
- Knowledge of infection control, resident care protocols, and documentation standards.
