Additionally, the technologist manages documentation, verifies patient identity, labels images correctly, and ensures compliance with department policies.

They provide safe patient care by adhering to radiation safety standards, practicing universal precautions, and monitoring patient status.

Professional conduct such as effective communication, appearance, punctuality, and ongoing education is essential.

Qualifications include

• current ARRT registration in Radiology or Nuclear Medicine
• CT certification within six months
• state licensure in Radiography or Nuclear Medicine
• BLS certification
• at least one year of CT experience preferred
