Role Overview

This position involves providing expert emergency nursing care in a high-acuity environment, prioritizing patient conditions, implementing life-saving interventions, and monitoring stability. The nurse will coordinate with multidisciplinary trauma and emergency teams to ensure seamless care delivery, educate patients and families empathetically, and manage urgent diagnostics and discharge planning to optimize department flow.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient conditions and prioritize care.
• Carry out physician orders accurately and adapt care plans as needed.
• Act as primary coordinator for trauma and emergency teams.
• Provide supportive education to patients and families.
• Coordinate diagnostic testing, admissions, and discharges.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Current RN license from the relevant state or multi-state license recognition.
• Certification in Advanced Life Support, BLS, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support within specified timeframes, accepted from AHA or ARC.
• Diploma from an accredited nursing program or equivalent licensure.
