Role Overview: The CT Technologist performs diagnostic and therapeutic CT procedures at a dedicated cardiovascular center, assisting physicians in diagnosis and treatment.
Responsibilities: Selects appropriate exposure factors, algorithms, and scan fields; produces accurate cross-sectional images; participates in complex invasive CT exams using sterile techniques; collaborates with radiologists and physicians.
Qualifications: Holds a Connecticut Department of Public Health Radiologic Technologist license; obtains CT Advanced certification by ARRT within 12 months of employment; graduate of an accredited Radiography program.
