Role: Registered Nurse in a Cardiac Stepdown unit

Responsibilities

• Provide high-acuity care to cardiac and post-surgical patients transitioning from ICU support
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and continuous cardiac monitoring
• Administer medications and IV therapies in a timely manner
• Respond quickly to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members
• Educate patients and families on cardiac care and recovery
• Document all care accurately in the EHR
