Role Overview: This position involves providing comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in an observation unit, with a focus on early detection of patient status changes through assessments and monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing assessments, cardiac and neurological monitoring, and timely interventions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate diagnostics and treatment plans.
• Educate patients and families on disease processes, medications, and discharge instructions to ensure continuity of care.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Registered Nurse licensure from the Tennessee Board of Nursing.
• BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire, accepted from AHA or ARC.
• Diploma or equivalent from an accredited nursing school.
• Preferred: 6 months of acute care nursing experience and willingness to obtain NIH Stroke Scale Certification.
