Role: Licensed Practice Nurse (LPN) in a Regional Float Pool, providing care across multiple healthcare facilities.
Responsibilities: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for adult and geriatric patients based on nursing standards. Float between facilities, working in diverse units such as Med/Surg, Telemetry, ICU, Emergency, Oncology, and Behavioral Health. Build clinical assessment and communication skills, collaborate with varied teams, and adapt to dynamic environments.
Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program with an active LPN license. Minimum of one year bedside LPN experience in Med/Surg; two years for specialized units like ED or ICU. Certifications include BLS; ACLS and PALS preferred for certain specialties. IV certification required.
Skills: Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform physical demands of nursing. Flexibility, strong communication, and clinical assessment skills are essential.
