Role Overview: Provides primary and specialty healthcare services in a correctional setting, including patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment, education, and referrals.   • Responsibilities: Performs clinical duties such as taking histories, conducting exams, ordering tests, and developing care plans. Contributes to process improvements and supports department goals while delivering excellent customer service.
  • Qualifications & Skills: Requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant healthcare fields, with at least 2 years of clinical experience. Must hold current licensure and certifications appropriate to the role (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner), including BLS and state-specific licenses. Demonstrates leadership, strong communication, and patient-centered care skills.
