Job Summary

Provides technical assistance under the supervision of a registered nurse for a specific group of patients to support quality outcomes. Handles service functions and communication with staff, patients, and visitors. Performs additional duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patients under RN guidance.
• Contributes to developing and implementing care plans.
• Implements and evaluates care plans under supervision.
• Assists nursing staff with patient care.
• Participates in activities aimed at improving healthcare delivery.
• Builds clinical leadership knowledge and participates in ongoing education.

Qualifications & Skills

• Currently enrolled as a full-time senior student in an approved nursing program, within one year of graduation.
• Meets or exceeds all academic requirements.
• Computer literacy.
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire preferred.
