Role: This position is for a locum Anesthesiologist responsible for providing comprehensive anesthesia care for surgical patients in a critical access facility.

- Administer preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative anesthesia, including general, regional, and local techniques.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Monitor vital signs continuously and adjust anesthesia levels to ensure patient safety.
- Respond promptly to emergencies during procedures and document care accurately.
- Stay current with advancements in anesthesiology through ongoing education.
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school with residency in anesthesiology.
- Board certification by the American Board of Anesthesiology or equivalent.
- Active, unrestricted medical license in Alaska.
- At least one year of clinical anesthesia experience preferred.
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, manual dexterity, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing patient needs in fast-paced settings.
