Role Overview: This position involves providing independent and comprehensive nursing care in a clinical setting, assessing patient needs, planning, implementing, and evaluating care plans. The nurse addresses complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs, administers medications and treatments following protocols, and documents all patient interactions accurately.

Responsibilities: Deliver nursing care aligned with professional standards, delegate tasks appropriately, and educate patients and families on care and resources. Ensure compliance with competency and certification requirements, including orientation and annual training.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
• At least 1 year of related nursing experience preferred
• Current RN license in the state of employment or a compact license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• ACLS and PALS certifications required
• Additional specialty certifications may be required within specified grace periods
  
  

Key Duties: Administer medications and treatments, monitor patient responses, document clinical information, assess learning needs, and provide patient and family education. Attend orientation and competency assessments to maintain professional standards.
