Role Overview: Responsible for assessing patients, developing and implementing comprehensive nursing care plans, and delivering high-quality patient care across diverse age groups, including pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.

- Patient Care Planning: Create and update individualized nursing care plans based on assessments, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.
- Patient Care Delivery: Execute care plans, prioritize patient needs, perform procedures safely, and document accurately.
- Care Evaluation: Assess patient responses, monitor progress toward goals, and revise care plans as necessary.
- Patient Education: Evaluate learning needs, provide education, and act as a role model and preceptor for staff and students.
- Communication & Safety: Maintain clear, confidential communication, report patient conditions accurately, and identify and report unsafe practices.
- BSN preferred; RN license in the applicable state or a compact license required.
- Six months to one year of RN or graduate nurse permit experience.
- Current BLS certification.
- Ability to perform procedures, collaborate effectively, and demonstrate leadership when acting as charge nurse.
