Role Overview: Provide routine and advanced respiratory care, manage ventilators, implement cardiorespiratory protocols, and perform advanced airway procedures.
Key Responsibilities: Assist physicians with bronchoscopy, monitor patient status, initiate and coordinate ventilator and airway management, perform high-frequency ventilation, deliver surfactant, and attend high-risk deliveries in NICU. Optional duties include transport, intubation, and backup charge therapy.
Qualifications & Skills: Associate degree or equivalent in Respiratory Care, NM Respiratory Care Practitioner License, NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist credential, BLS, ACLS/PALS, and 6 months to 1 year critical care experience preferred.
