Role Overview

Provides direct patient care in the Neuro Trauma ICU, utilizing the nursing process to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care within a technically complex environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform top-of-scope nursing practices and prioritize patient wellness and safety.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Precept and support new healthcare staff, fostering a learning environment.
• Contribute to a secure and safe clinical setting.
• Participate in specialized ICU orientation and ongoing education, including evidence-based models and simulations.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program (if less than 3 years experience).
• Active RN licensure and at least 6 months of nursing experience.
• Current BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross, valid through sixty days of employment.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills.
