Role Overview: Provides direct patient care in the Mother Baby Unit, utilizing a full scope of nursing practice within a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities Include

• Delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care following AWHONN and AACN standards.
• Precepting and mentoring new healthcare staff and students.
• Ensuring safety, quality, and effective clinical practices at the point of care.
  
  

Qualifications And Skills

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing within three years of assuming the role.
• Current RN licensure and at least one year of nursing experience.
• Certification in Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification prior to start.
