Role Overview: This registered nurse position involves providing independent and complex patient care in Medsurg, Telemetry, and Intermediate Care settings. The nurse assesses, diagnoses, plans, intervenes, and evaluates patient needs, addressing psychological, emotional, cultural, and social factors. Responsibilities include administering medications, monitoring effects, documenting patient information, and educating patients and families.

Key Duties:

• Utilize the nursing process to deliver evidence-based care and ensure patient safety.
• Coordinate patient throughput, admissions, discharges, and transfers to optimize flow.
• Manage unit operations, including staffing, equipment, and supplies.
• Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and quality standards.
• Follow clinical policies, ensure accurate health information documentation, and troubleshoot medical equipment.
• Interpret patient charts, recognize safety issues, and promote a safe environment.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Medsurg/Telemetry and Intermediate Care (5 years preferred).
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Current RN license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to be flexible and work across multiple units as needed.
