Role Overview: A registered nurse providing independent, comprehensive patient care within a clinical setting. Demonstrates clinical competence, manages complex patient needs, and delegates tasks appropriately to care team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation—to deliver quality care.
• Address emotional, psychological, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
• Administer medications and treatments following protocols, monitor for side effects, and evaluate effectiveness.
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided accurately.
• Assess learning needs and educate patients, families, and caregivers, identifying resources and issues.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Preferred Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a related nursing specialty preferred.
• Current RN license in the state of employment or a compact license.
• Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC.
• Completion of organizational orientation, competency validations, and annual requirements.
  
  

Additional Requirements

• Participate in orientation and residency programs as applicable.
• Obtain necessary certifications within specified grace periods based on experience level.
• Work schedule is full-time, overnight shifts from 7PM to 7AM.
