- Utilize the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation—to deliver quality care.
- Address emotional, psychological, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
- Administer medications and treatments following protocols, monitor for side effects, and evaluate effectiveness.
- Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided accurately.
- Assess learning needs and educate patients, families, and caregivers, identifying resources and issues.
- Preferred Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a related nursing specialty preferred.
- Current RN license in the state of employment or a compact license.
- Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC.
- Completion of organizational orientation, competency validations, and annual requirements.
- Participate in orientation and residency programs as applicable.
- Obtain necessary certifications within specified grace periods based on experience level.
- Work schedule is full-time, overnight shifts from 7PM to 7AM.
