Role Overview: Provides clinical leadership in an acute inpatient setting, ensuring patient-centered care through evidence-based nursing practices.
Key Responsibilities: Conducts patient assessments, develops and updates individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the healthcare team, and manages patient care tasks within scope of practice.
Monitors care quality, ensures safety, and uses performance data for continuous improvement.
Educates patients and families, advocates for their needs, and maintains thorough documentation.
Delegates tasks appropriately, incorporates cost-effective and safe care practices, and adheres to regulatory and organizational policies.
Qualifications & Skills: Requires an Associate degree in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred), valid RN license, and at least one year of RN experience or equivalent training through residency programs or LPN experience.
Demonstrates competency in clinical skills, safety protocols, and effective communication.
Maintains licensure and ongoing professional development.
Additional Details: Non-management role reporting to a supervisor, with responsibilities including ensuring compliance, quality improvement, and patient advocacy. Night shift availability.
