Role: Provides direct patient care in a fast-paced surgical trauma environment, focusing on acute critical care, trauma, orthopedics, plastics, and reconstructive surgery.
Responsibilities: Develops and documents individualized care plans, assesses physical and psychosocial needs, promotes patient and family-centered care, educates patients on post-treatment management, and participates in safety and quality initiatives.
Qualifications: Requires an RN license and a nursing diploma or associate's degree; a bachelor's degree and less than 2 years of experience are preferred. OR experience is desirable.
Skills: Critical thinking, assessment, communication, and collaboration skills are essential. The role emphasizes safety, professional development, and adherence to standards of care.
Key Duties: Ensuring patient safety, advocating for quality care, working with multidisciplinary teams, and supporting patient education. No call or weekend shifts, with night hours scheduled.
