The CNA provides direct patient care under RN supervision in a Respiratory Cardiology Unit, supporting a high-functioning team.
The CNA provides direct patient care under RN supervision in a Respiratory Cardiology Unit, supporting a high-functioning team.
- Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers, and measure vital signs, output, and weights.
- Collect specimens and perform fingerstick blood tests.
- Support patient mobility and transfers using lifts and safety devices.
- Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities, including an annual CNA conference.
- Perform other assigned duties to ensure quality patient care.
- Oregon Nursing Assistant Certification License required upon hire.
- CPR/BLS certification from the American Heart Association required.
- Preferred experience in hospital or long-term care settings.
