Role Overview: The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides patient-centered nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or provider, supporting patients across all ages using the nursing process.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
• Current Georgia LPN or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
• BLS certification required.
• New graduates are eligible; previous hospital or emergency department experience is preferred.
• Emergency Department nurses should obtain ALS/ACLS and PALS certifications within specified timeframes.
  
  

Additional Information

• Demonstrated clinical competency in the specialty area is preferred.
• Certification completion within 6 months for those new to the specialty or the emergency department.
