Role: The RRT Nurse is a registered nurse responsible for coordinating rapid response assessments, interventions, and documentation to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key Duties: Respond to RRT calls, assess and intervene during patient crises, communicate with healthcare teams, educate patients and staff, and develop clinical guidelines.
Data & Quality Improvement: Monitor and analyze RRT data, identify trends, recommend improvements, and track patient code outcomes to enhance care quality.
Professional Practice: Serve as a role model, mentor peers, collaborate with medical staff, support a positive work environment, and contribute to performance improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills: Minimum 2 years critical care nursing experience, RN license, ACLS/BLS certifications, strong communication, multitasking, stress management, and computer skills.
Additional Requirements: Critical care certification and NIHSS preferred; must adhere to professional nursing standards and Georgia RN Practice Act.
