Role: Provides proficient, direct patient care in a 24/7 Acute Care (MedSurg) environment, utilizing the nursing process to optimize patient outcomes.
Responsibilities: Develops, implements, and evaluates patient care plans; monitors and communicates patient conditions; collaborates across disciplines for care coordination; educates patients and families; delegates care to ancillary staff; may precept students and new hires. Requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting.
Qualifications & Skills: Graduation from an accredited nursing program; current RN licensure; at least 6 months of RN experience; BLS certification; preferred Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. Must have valid BLS/CPR certification and relevant life support certifications.
Key Duties: Deliver safe, quality care; collaborate with care teams; educate patients; precept staff; work independently with minimal supervision in a night shift role.
