Role Overview: The Registered Nurse provides individualized adult/geriatric nursing care by applying theoretical knowledge to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in various hospital units.
Key Responsibilities: Float across multiple units including Med/Surg, Telemetry, Stepdown, ICU, and others, supporting diverse patient populations. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, ensure compliance with nursing standards, and maintain current licensure and certifications such as BLS and ACLS.
Qualifications: Must have a nursing degree from an accredited program (BSN preferred), an active RN license, and recent bedside experience—at least one year for Med/Surg and two years for critical care specialties. Epic experience is a plus.
Skills & Physical Demands: Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, physical stamina for standing, walking, bending, and patient handling (up to 50 pounds).
