Role: Registered Nurse - Central Triage/Medical Group

Responsibilities:

• Triages patient calls, manages health concerns, and provides education per protocols
• Supervises Medical Assistants in prescription refills and prior authorizations
• Documents in EMR, communicates lab results, and instructs patients on home care
• Performs preliminary assessments, vital signs, and identifies urgent issues
• Handles crisis situations and ensures professional, sensitive patient interactions
  
  

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma in Nursing; Bachelor's preferred
• Active State of Illinois licensure
• Minimum 3 years RN experience; 1 year telephone triage preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology, disease processes, and protocols
