Role Overview: This position involves ensuring appropriate reimbursement for patient care services by participating in the Patient Assessment Process, completing the MDS and Care Area Assessments (CAAs), and developing individualized care plans in compliance with federal and state regulations.

- Assist in the interdisciplinary Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process, ensuring accurate completion, encoding, and transmission of MDS data.
- Identify patient condition changes, coordinate assessments, and support ongoing staff education on RAI/Prospective Payment System regulations.
- Contribute to activities of daily living training for new and existing staff.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in good standing.
- Experience in healthcare settings such as hospitals or long-term care facilities.
- Proven experience with MDS and Care Plan completion.
- Knowledge of rehabilitative, restorative nursing practices, and applicable laws and regulations.
