Role: The physical therapist assesses, plans, and implements rehabilitative programs to improve mobility, reduce pain, and prevent deformities in patients with injuries or diseases.

Responsibilities: Develops and revises treatment plans, provides patient education, collaborates with physicians on care goals, documents treatments, and ensures discharge planning. Acts as a resource for staff, families, and physicians regarding rehabilitation services.

Qualifications & Skills: Requires a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy, valid PT license, and BLS certification. Must possess effective communication, customer service focus, teamwork, and basic computer skills. Georgia state licensure is mandatory.

Key Duties: Conducts patient assessments, establishes care plans with input from patients and families, documents all sessions per standards, and participates in professional development activities. Adheres to ethical standards, maintains confidentiality, and promotes a positive, collaborative environment. Also responsible for infection prevention and compliance with policies.
