Role: Hospice Music Therapist
Responsibilities: Conduct music therapy assessments, plan and implement therapeutic interventions, guide patients in creative activities to enhance mental and physical well-being, evaluate therapy effectiveness, provide staff in-services, participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, and support bereavement programs.
Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's degree in Music or related field from an AMTA-approved program, Board Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC), reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license, preferably experience with terminally ill patients.
Key Duties: Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver personalized music therapy, advocate for patient needs, and contribute to comprehensive hospice care.
