Role Overview

Responsible for managing store operations, including staffing, training, inventory management, merchandising, and customer service. Ensures store is properly staffed, maintains inventory accuracy, and adheres to safety and security policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Recruit, select, train, evaluate, and retain employees in compliance with laws and company policies.
• Communicate performance expectations, conduct performance reviews, and address employee development needs.
• Oversee daily store opening and closing procedures, ensuring proper staffing and operational efficiency.
• Analyze financial statements to identify trends, control expenses, and minimize shrinkage.
• Manage inventory levels through ordering, cycle counts, and merchandising practices.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment, ensuring appropriate presentation and signage.
• Deliver superior customer service and foster a positive shopping experience.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and cash handling protocols.

• Ability to interpret manuals, safety rules, and procedures.
• Strong math, cash handling, and inventory management skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of retail merchandising, recruiting, and legal compliance.
• Organizational skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Experience & Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical & Working Conditions

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 55 pounds.
• Use of equipment such as scanners, pricing guns, and carts.
• Occasional outdoor exposure and driving for store-related tasks.
• Fast-paced environment with moderate noise levels.
