Position Overview: The Occupational Therapist (OT) provides direct rehabilitation care in occupational therapy to patients based on physician referrals, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and standards.

- Develop, assess, and modify treatment plans focused on activities of daily living.
- Oversee and evaluate care provided by OTAs, Rehab Aides, and students.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and utilize therapy software effectively.
- Establish realistic, measurable, and functional goals for patients.
- Communicate and collaborate within an interdisciplinary team, providing excellent customer service.
- Assist in patient evacuation and support safety protocols.
- Ensure professional relationships, confidentiality, and adherence to organizational policies and codes of conduct.
- Participate in community health initiatives as appropriate.
- Certified by NBCOT; renewal optional.
- Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program (BSOT or MSOT).
- Active licensure in the applicable state; maintain licensure in good standing.
- Preferred one year of experience; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- CPR certification required; must remain current.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email.
- Strong communication, reasoning, and judgment skills.
- Ability to follow safety procedures and demonstrate good body mechanics.
- Follow individualized treatment plans and adjust goals as needed.
- Chart accurately and in a timely manner.
- Utilize therapy tools and software effectively.
- Maintain professional and respectful relationships with patients and colleagues.
- Demonstrate dependability, integrity, and professionalism at all times.
- Perform physical activities such as sitting, standing, lifting, and moving intermittently during work.
