Role: Respiratory Therapist responsible for providing diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory care procedures in a hospital setting.

- Perform respiratory therapies, including oxygen and gas administration, aerosolized medication, CPT, IPV, and ventilator setup, following established policies.
- Conduct diagnostic procedures such as ABG analysis, pulse oximetry, and pulmonary hypertension studies.
- Assess and reassess patient needs, vital signs, and responses to therapy, collaborating with physicians and staff.
- Respond to critical situations, assist with invasive procedures, and monitor life support equipment.
- Maintain equipment, ensure infection control, and adhere to safety protocols.
- Provide age-appropriate care, educate patients, and deliver service with professionalism and courtesy.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and document patient care accurately.
- Licensed Respiratory Therapist (RRT) and MO licensure.
- Knowledge of respiratory therapies, diagnostic procedures, equipment operation, and infection control.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and professional demeanor.
- Ability to respond quickly in emergencies and handle physical demands, including lifting and prolonged standing.
- Certifications in BLS and adherence to safety standards.
