Role Overview
- Coordinates and maintains the PGY-1 pharmacy residency program, ensuring compliance with ASHP standards.
- Collaborates with Clinical Programs and Education/Safety Coordinators to provide age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective medication therapies.
- Performs physician-focused activities such as FPPE and OPPE for physician reappointment evaluations.
- Processes medication orders and dispenses medications following policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Contributes to departmental educational goals and supports continuous improvement of pharmacy processes.
- Enhances performance, accuracy, and efficiency to promote patient safety and positive outcomes.
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm D from an accredited institution.
- At least 1500 hours of pharmacy practice experience and two years of relevant pharmacy work within a health system.
- Preferred experience with current medication technology systems and working independently or in team settings.
- Licensed and in good standing with the Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy.
- Memberships in professional pharmacy organizations are encouraged, with orientation completion required prior to patient care duties.
