Position: Full-Time MRI Technologist (2nd Shift) responsible for operating MRI equipment and performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

- Perform diagnostic MRI scans using correct techniques based on patient age and diagnosis.
- Assist in complex invasive MRI procedures with sterile techniques.
- Start IV sites, assess existing sites, and administer contrast agents per protocols.
- Maintain MRI safety policies and ensure equipment is in good working order.
- Prepare and document images for interpretation, ensuring accurate data entry and storage.
- Conduct routine quality assurance testing and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
- Provide clinical supervision and instruction to students, supporting their competency development.
- Review physician orders and patient information for accuracy and completeness.
- High school diploma or equivalent; graduate of AMA-approved radiology program.
- Registration with ARRT and MRI certification (or within six months of hire).
- CT license and CPR certification may be required.
- Desirable: 1+ year radiologic technologist experience; associate degree in related field.
- Knowledge of radiological technology, anatomy, and medical conditions.
- Ability to operate MRI equipment, schedule and organize workflows, and communicate effectively.
- Capable of reacting calmly in emergencies, maintaining confidentiality, and understanding regulations.
- Basic life support (CPR) skills and venipuncture ability where applicable.
- May require rotation on night, weekend, or holiday call.
- May need to cover ancillary offices; involves physical activity like lifting and walking.
- Work involves OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens exposure risk.
