Role: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) responsible for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures such as ABG, PFTs, ventilator support, oxygen and aerosol therapy, bronchial hygiene, and airway maintenance.
Responsibilities: Perform cardiopulmonary diagnostics, interpret data (CXR, ABG, PFTs), assemble and troubleshoot equipment, and ensure infection control and equipment maintenance. Provide patient assessments, utilize critical thinking, and adapt care to diverse patient needs. Engage in safety and quality assurance tasks and enhance patient satisfaction through effective communication.
Qualifications & Skills: Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program, current BLS and ACLS certifications, licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner, and NBRC registration. Requires at least 6 months of respiratory care experience. Must be proficient in respiratory assessment, treatment, and equipment handling, with the ability to interpret medical data and perform procedures on patients of all ages, including neonates and adults.
