The Advanced Nuclear Medicine Technologist operates nuclear medicine imaging equipment to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment.
Responsibilities include ensuring radiation safety, maintaining high-quality imaging standards, and effectively communicating with patients and healthcare teams.
Qualifications include a graduate of an accredited Radiology Sciences Program with completed clinical hours, at least one year of relevant experience, and necessary licensure and certifications such as NMTCB or ARRT (N), along with BLS.
Preferred skills encompass knowledge of biohazard safety, NRC regulations, radiation safety following ALARA standards, strong decision-making, attention to detail, and excellent communication.
Physical requirements involve lifting up to 50 lbs, prolonged standing, and performing various physical movements.
