Role: Occupational Therapist Assistant providing occupational therapy to patients in a home care setting, focused on restoring patients' physical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Follow state laws and treatment plans set by supervising OT
• Instruct and assist patients with evidence-based therapy within scope
• Observe, document, and report patient responses and condition changes
• Educate patients, families, and healthcare team members on therapy techniques
• Adapt to diverse home environments and client backgrounds
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Current Occupational Therapy Assistant license in practice state
• Valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, or access to transportation
• Certification with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy
• Preferred: CPR certification, ability to manage multiple tasks, work independently, and strong communication and organizational skills
