Role and Responsibilities: The Ambulatory Urology Technician performs delegated patient care activities and supports the urology team. Tasks include assisting with laboratory sample collection, preparing patients for urological procedures, and supporting intraprocedure activities under supervision. They ensure competency in reprocessing and high-level disinfection, and provide basic patient care in an ambulatory setting.
Qualifications and Skills: Requires a high school diploma or GED. Must demonstrate self-motivation, flexibility, and adaptability to unpredictable situations. Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team are essential. Previous healthcare experience is preferred. Maintain current BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross.
Additional Details: This is a full-time, nonexempt role with a pay rate of $22.73 - $32.26/hour. No weekend work, with shifts Monday through Friday.
