Overview

Provides occupational therapy interventions under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist (OT), assisting in patient progress monitoring, education, and documentation. Implements prescribed services, performs delegated procedures, and reports patient responses regularly. Modifies treatment plans as needed, maintains records, and ensures communication within the care team. Participates in in-service programs, QA reviews, and interdisciplinary meetings, ensuring OT supervision during initial and periodic visits. Supports professional growth and contributes to special projects.

Qualifications

• Valid NY State occupational therapy assistant certification and registration
• Associate’s Degree from a NYS-approved program
• Minimum two years of experience preferred
• Basic PC skills preferred
• Possibly bilingual skills required based on operational needs
• Valid driver’s license may be required
