Role Overview

Seeking licensed Physical Therapy Assistants to provide in-home physical therapy services, primarily for clients with chronic and terminal illnesses. The role involves conducting weekly visits, typically lasting 1-2 hours, following physician care plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver physical therapy services and client education in home settings.
  • Complete documentation on services, observations, and client progress within designated timeframes.
  • Report changes or concerns promptly to supervisors and participate in interdisciplinary team activities.
  • Attend client care conferences, staff meetings, and continuing education programs.
  • Promote safety, infection control, and confidentiality in all job aspects.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant policies, standards, and regulations.
  • Identify personal learning needs and participate in professional development.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Current license, registration, or certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant or eligible to take the exam.
  • Graduate of an accredited PTA program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association.
  • Minimum six months of PTA experience.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and insurance.

Compensation: $38/hr plus applicable shift differentials, including paid drive time.
