- Greeting patients and visitors with courtesy and professionalism.
- Answering, screening, and directing calls; taking messages and providing information.
- Issuing and reviewing patient forms for completion and signatures.
- Checking in patients, verifying/update information, obtaining IDs and insurance details, and taking photos.
- Maintaining a neat work environment and restocking lobby materials.
- Documenting all patient interactions and ensuring timely follow-up calls.
- Protecting patient confidentiality per HIPAA and safety guidelines per OSHA.
- Confirming appointments and maintaining daily reports.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum three years of direct patient care experience.
- Current certification (CMA, RMA, CCMA, NCMA, CMAA) or willingness to certify within 6 months.
- Exceptional customer service, critical thinking, and diplomatic problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with computers and office equipment.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Physical ability to stand, bend, walk, sit, and lift up to 30 lbs.
