Role: Medical Assistant

Responsibilities

• Assist healthcare providers during examinations and treatments
• Complete patient intake, obtain medical history, and verify information
• Document vital signs and update electronic medical records accurately
• Perform point-of-care tests within skill and certification levels
• Maintain exam rooms and supplies, ensure a clean and safe environment
• Support pre-visit planning and address voicemails and inbox messages
• Back-up front office tasks such as check-in, check-out, and scheduling
• Follow HIPAA guidelines and maintain professional relationships with vendors
• Participate in trainings and meetings as required
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• High School Diploma or GED; healthcare program graduate (Medical Assistant, CNA, LPN, EMT)
• Certified Medical Assistant (preferred), current BLS card
• Strong computer skills; EMR experience preferred
• 1-3 years of experience in family or pediatric care (preferred)
• Excellent communication, empathy, and attention to detail
  
  

Work Conditions: Standing, handling, reaching, occasional walking, sitting, stooping, lifting up to 25+ pounds, with specific vision requirements

Compensation: $21 - $27 per hour
