We are seeking a compassionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a supportive healthcare team.
Key responsibilities include conducting comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, cognition, and swallowing, developing and implementing personalized, evidence-based treatment plans, specializing in dysphagia management and cognitive-linguistic rehabilitation, educating patients, families, and staff on communication and swallowing strategies, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications required are a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, current ASHA CCC certification, and Alabama state licensure. Preferred experience includes 2+ years in skilled nursing or similar settings, with expertise in dysphagia and cognitive rehab. A passion for geriatric care and interdisciplinary collaboration is essential.
