Certified Medical Assistant
Role: Support patient care in an ambulatory setting by working closely with providers across multiple specialties and clinical staff to ensure an exceptional patient experience aligned with core values of Service, Trust, Empathy, Safety, Inclusion, and Communication.
Responsibilities: Greet and assist patients, prepare them for visits, perform vital signs, specimen collection, point-of-care testing, assist with examinations, and handle documentation in electronic health records (Epic). Support physicians with procedures, perform phlebotomy, and ensure proper lab processing. Respond to emergencies and provide first aid. May assist with sterile procedures under supervision.
Qualifications & Skills: High school diploma, certified by a credentialing body, current BCLS/AED, strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, collaborative team player, proficient in electronic health systems, adaptable, and committed to diversity and inclusion. Prior outpatient and EMR experience preferred.
