Role Overview: A neuro critical care physician is needed for inpatient coverage at a Level I trauma center. The position requires board certification in Neurocritical Care and involves managing adult patients in the Neuro ICU.
Responsibilities: Handle 10-18 patients daily, perform 2-3 admissions, conduct rounds, and provide consults within the Neuro ICU. Procedures and code responses are essential components of the role. Support from medical critical care and anesthesia is available, though APP support may be limited.
Qualifications & Skills: Board-certified in Neurocritical Care, with licensure already in place for credentialing. Ability to perform procedures, respond to codes, and manage a high-acuity patient population is required.
Key Duties: Cover both day and night shifts, with no call required. Manage adult patients, perform admissions, and provide comprehensive neuro ICU care in a fast-paced environment.
