Role Overview: Provides patient care utilizing the nursing process, ensuring professional accountability, evaluating care effectiveness, and coordinating with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality, aligning with organizational standards.

Unit Focus: Cardiac and thoracic care for complex patients including post-operative surgery, CHF, arrhythmias, myocardial infarctions, pulmonary issues, kidney failure, and overdoses. Collaborates with surgeons and cardiologists to ensure safe patient transitions.

Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited nursing program, valid RN license in Missouri or compact state, BLS certification (within 30 days). Preferred experience in hospital or specialty settings, BSN preferred, and physical ability to perform duties.
