Role: Lead Respiratory Therapist responsible for managing daily operations of a shift, ensuring safe and quality patient care.
Responsibilities: Oversee patient assignments, support staff onboarding and training, facilitate interdisciplinary communication, monitor equipment and supplies, and promote quality improvement initiatives. Provide direct patient care, assist with data collection, and support safety, customer service, and clinical excellence. Lead and evaluate staff performance, ensure staff education, and maintain compliance with certifications. Participate in process improvements and patient outcome evaluations.
Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy, current Respiratory Care Professional license, BLS, RRT certification, and relevant advanced credentials. Minimum of two years' critical care experience across various units. Strong leadership, communication, and clinical skills, along with the ability to support staff development and quality initiatives.
