Role Overview

This position provides direct and indirect patient care, collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to improve outcomes. It involves assessing patients, administering medications, providing age-appropriate care, and educating patients and families. The role requires applying nursing knowledge to perform treatments, assist with procedures, and address psychosocial needs. Emphasis is placed on patient safety, cost-effective practices, and ongoing professional development.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and accurately document patient conditions
• Administer prescribed medications
• Deliver appropriate care based on patient age and condition
• Develop and evaluate patient and family education plans
• Collaborate with team members for comprehensive care
• Assist physicians with procedures and perform technical services
• Address psychosocial needs and coordinate post-discharge care
• Practice resource conservation and promote safety
• Engage in continuous learning within the nursing profession
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Computer literacy
• RN licensure and BLS certification within 14 days of hire
• Preferred: ACLS/PALS certifications
