Role And Responsibilities
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) develops strong relationships with members/patients, assessing their needs, and providing compassionate, patient-centered care. Key duties include supporting physicians and medical staff, performing routine and specialized nursing procedures, monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, and assisting with examinations and minor surgeries. The LPN ensures safety and infection control standards are met, maintains accurate patient records, educates patients on health management, and supports team training and inventory management. Qualifications And Skills
- Graduation from an accredited Practical Nursing program and valid Colorado LPN license.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 3 months of hire.
- Strong customer service skills and a safety-conscious attitude.
- Preferred: I.V. therapy certification and experience with diverse patient populations.
