Role: Provides nursing leadership and manages women's services activities, workflow, and resources.
Responsibilities Include
Licenses/Certifications: Valid RN license in applicable states; BLS, ALS, and additional neonatal/pediatric resuscitation certifications as per state requirements.
Physical Requirements: Standing, walking, lifting, reaching, and communication activities necessary for patient care.

- Developing and implementing individualized care plans for women and newborns based on health data.
- Coordinating care delivery to promote woman-, newborn-, and family-centered care within scope of practice.
- Evaluating patient progress and making ethical decisions respecting cultural diversity.
- Communicating and collaborating with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure safe, holistic care.
- Serving as a role model, mentor, and change agent, staying current with evidence-based nursing practices.
- Participating in quality improvement, practice evaluation, and resource management, ensuring safety and effectiveness.
- Applying evidence-based care tailored to patient age and clinical needs.
