Role Overview: This position involves providing high-quality perioperative nursing care in the Operating Room, including patient evaluation, preparation, and education. You will participate in surgical procedures, ensure patient safety through protocols like site verification, and respond to emergencies. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and continuous process improvement are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assess and prepare patients for surgery
• Educate patients and families about procedures
• Participate in surgical site verification and safety protocols
• Recognize and respond to emergencies
• Monitor and document patient condition
• Collaborate with surgeons, technologists, and providers
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Current RN license in Colorado or active multi-state license
• Minimum one year perioperative experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ACLS and PALS within 6 months
• Graduate of an accredited nursing school; BSN preferred
• CNOR certification preferred
